The actual character used as the time separator in formatted output is determined by your system settings.ĭate separator. The time separator separates hours, minutes, and seconds when time values are formatted. In some locales, a different character is used to represent the time separator. Tableau Server can also retrieve date formats from the Run As user account on the server that is running Tableau Server. Tableau retrieves date formats from the data source.
